phrenokomion is a studio that provides affordable but professional audio recording & mixing services, as well as graphic design & multimedia work for musicians, artists and people in the DIY scene.

Despite having it’s roots in harsh noise and other abrasive genres, credits for phrenokomion range from jazz & experimental post-punk to post-hardcore & screamo.

The studio is largely a one-man operation. run by Alex (B.Sc Audio Production & Audio Engineering Diploma), with other engineers stepping in as assistants for bigger projects. The studio started in 2019 in Cyprus. Alex is originally from Famagusta, Cyprus- but is now based in Berlin.
